Mexican is a nationality not an ethnicity. If they are citizens of this country then they aren't Mexicans.

Sorry, but you are wrong. Those profiting from illegal labor are only pocketing the profits they aren't passing any savings unto we the consumer. What they do though is pass the social costs of their illegal workers unto we the taxpayer to the tune of $113 billion a year. Americans would get their jobs back once again at a fair wage.

Exactly. Also for Central American immigrants (Dallas and Houston). SA has a HUGE Hispanic heritage population but dating back to 1700 and 1800s.

They ARE U.S. citizens. That's the point. Another poster said there's no way that San Antonio has less than 70,000 illegals. I said just because so many people in SA are "brown" (being politically incorrect) doesn't mean they are illegal. Those "brown" folks in SA are American citizens...not all, but San Antonio is very different from cities like Dallas and Houston. San Antonio has a huge population of people of Mexican decent dating back centuries who were here in Texas prior to our being a country and then a state. There are old Mexican American families here in Dallas as well, not as many. Folks from places like, Indiana or Ohio, don't seem to get that.

Well, why not pick the place with the best weather?

Looks like an acute case of lastworditis.

Can't argue with facts and statistics, go for semantics. It's easy to see through.

We're never going to agree on this issue and it's pointless to continue discussing it unless you're just trying to score points.

If we're gonna say Mexicans are an ethnic group; we need to include Lupita and the Romney clan in that country even tho that lady's "Black" and Mitt's cousins are "white".

Illegal alien by any other name is an illegal alien and needs to get the boot back to where they came from. I don't care where they are in the US, they just need to go!
