With my luck if I moved like that, they would ship in a load of refugees with TB some night after dark. I was in AL 2004 through 2006 and I like most of their politics although being a "northern girl" originally, there were some things........... Might go back there.

Sadly, in the town where I am, it is one of the most illegally populated in the state. Only about 25,000 people and since most of the money goes out of town via Western Union, we have fewer businesses all the time. Also, wages are depressed in the manufacturing facilities that don't e-verify, but when someone else pays to raise your kids............ Trust me, you wouldn't want to trade places. Average household income is about $35,000, taxes high, availability of goods is low, and the weather is good about 4 days a year.

CA needs to roll up the welcome mat and throw it in the ocean. The rich exploit the illegals and the rest of us pay for it.

Yep, if I am reading an article and hit the word "undocumented", I don't need to read anymore.

Agree, as I said Alabama was pretty good, we were living in the area near Fort Rucker. We also lived about 20 miles north of Tucson, AZ and that is where I started my "education" about the effect of illegal aliens on an area. I talked at length with Border Patrol to learn what was going on, and I wish I would have just remained ignorant like so many others. I had no idea thousands crossed the border illegally every single month. We had a bunch die in the back of a U-Haul truck in the heat, the driver and coyote or whatever should have been staked in the desert, spread eagle with wet rawhide!

Just another obamanation "treat" for the illegals. This darn sure wouldn't happen to citizens. Not that I would want it to. I think time should be served for criminal acts, of course. Which reminds me, just like Obama lets the terrorists free in the middle of the night, he let a lot of people out of jail recently. I bet you could count the "white" people he released on one hand. I know of some white people who are in jail because they had some pot on them, and they've already served more time than the thugs he released, and apparently they have to serve their 99 years or whatever. I don't understand why no one asks Obama why? Very rarely does anyone push an issue with him. He gets hateful, and glares at them, but that can't be why?!! Are they scared of him? Is the media scared of Obama?

I love the cold, cold. I mean, I think I would. I live in OK. where it's pretty much summer all year round. Youre perspiring profusely in the "winter" because the sun is shining so brightly. I've never been anywhere, where the sun shines this much. I just hate it. Is there really such a thing as 4 different seasons? It's so hot here at Easter that a lot of people have stopped having egg hunts outside. I know people every year who move because of the heat................. So, I would happily live in the cold areas. I usually don't even have to wear a winter coat here!d
