Hispanic Majority. Then What?
I keep hearing that Hispanics will eventually become the majority in the US. What do they plan to do when this happens?
Will they make Spanish the official language? If so, what will this accomplish? Do they plan to remake the legal justice system? What would this look like?
I imagine they will vote Hispanics into office, but so what? There already are officials all across the country of many different races and backgrounds, and they still must operate under the same system. Do Hispanics plan to change current institutions?
I don't understand what the significance of being a "racial" majority will hold.

I won't go so far as to say nothing. Things always change, but I do agree with you.
What then, is the point of saying Hispanics will become the majority? Is this just to boost their egos? Is it grandstanding? Is being the majority an element of ethnic pride? |

Chicken Fighting won't be illegal, horse tripping will be a rodeo event.
Driving drunk or doing anything drunk for that matter won't be a crime
We will be identified by the color hat we wear
Our educational system will resemble Mexico's........
I am sure I will be dead in 2050 and plan on doing what I can in my remaining years to see that the USA will always be the USA.

So What If Hispanics Become The Majority In The U.s.a They Are Now So Many Americans Moving To Mexico Buying Lands And Buisnneses Does That Mean That They Are Going To Change Mexico ?
