Yes, for the past week he has been begging Blacks for votes, albeit in a totally inappropriate manner.

It is insanity how an illegal alien can be arrested for say drunk driving then get let go to somehow magically appear at a future court date. Cuff em, Stuff em and send them packing with no chance to ever get back in to pick up their crimes again.

Even one death of a citizen at the hands of an illegal that has been deported before is too many and is actually blood on the hands of the current administration that allows it to continue.
Factually the current administration has deported the most illegal immigrants...opps but all problems started with the BLACK guy.

Not true. Obama's so-called high deportation numbers were a farce. Links have been posted in here about it before. Add to that DACA and DAPA and Obama's instructions to Homeland Security not to deport any illegal aliens unless they are "convicted" criminals and his deportation record is dismal.

There is no reason to bring Obama's race into this discussion. Besides, he is half white.

Well since illegal deportation disproportional affect latinos, I would give credence to their perception and statistics more.

As Deportations Rise to Record Levels, Most Latinos Oppose Obama

Yeah right, he is half white. Do you think he would have been half white in the 50s, 60s, 70's, 80's...when did it change?

Wrong! The Obama administration has admitted to cooking the books when it comes to those deportation figures:

Deportations come mostly from border, DHS chief says - Washington Times

Even if it were True that Obama was deporting lots of illegals, what good is it when he dictated DACA? Then he tried to dictate DAPA until a court injunction stopped him from doing so.

Trump began softening right before the nomination. Claims he never favored mass deportation.

He was on a tangent about Obama having deported more illegal aliens than any other POTUS and called Obama Deporter Chief. Trump said he will be the compassionate president. ( probably true if one counts those declined at the border)

Trump has always advocated for making it easier for foreign workers to legally work in the US.

He was scheduled to disclose his revised immigration intention in Colorado this week. His people cancelled the event and have not rescheduled it.

What? Most illegals here are Mexicans and other Latinos by far so it only makes sense that they would be the largest group deported. The question is why would citizen Hispanics object to the enforcement of our immigration laws since they are just as obligated to respect them as any other citizen group is?

What does perception have to do with the past or present in regards to Obama's racial makeup? Obama himself refuses to identify with his white side. The fact is that he is half black and white genetically. His race has nothing to do with the illegal immigration issue anyway.

I'm not worried about Trump's stance. He has stated he still wants to build the wall, enforce ALL of our current immigration laws and place priority on deporting any illegal who commits a crime. Once that is done, he can start weeding out the rest. I think everyone knew a deportation force that immediately rounded up all 11+ million illegals was going to be a hard sell.

A slight softening of deporting each and every one of the 11+ million illegals? It's funny how the left is trying to make this a negative for Trump, when one of the main reasons they hate Trump is because of his immigration policies.

I'm not worried. The whole purpose of the media's spin on this is to cast doubt about Trump's promises. Don't fall for it.

Well said. Trump has never said that any illegal immigrants would be allowed to say. And as far as allowing them to come back, oh sure, they can apply like everyone else. Truth is once they're back in their home countries we have no obligation to let them back in or put their application above others who did it the right way.

Yes Trump appears to be softening.

I do think that the logistics and costs of deporting the 11 million illegals currently here makes the plan impossible.

But, he still intends to Build the Wall to stop the flood of more coming which will help the economy and the strain on our resources.

I have no problem with hard working illegals who will start paying taxes to stay; as long as they are not criminals.
