They might want to google bullhead city river regatta, we host 30,000 floaters each year. EVERYONE wears lifejackets. There are rescue and medical boats. Lots of drunks, but in ten years nobody has drowned. Had a trash problem this year that they will fix.

Worst thing that can happen is being blown across the border into the Socialist Republuc of Commiefornia. But if that happens you're toast.

Aaah, it isn't that big a deal, at least not from the Canadian perspective.

This event has gone on for some years now and usually well managed with the few strays being rounded up by American power boaters who assist the event.

This time prevailing winds just overwhelmed them. Mother nature showing us once again she has no concept of borders, much less respecting them.
