LA Times analysis piece on the practicality of the Trump plans...

Can Donald Trump really round up and deport 11 million people? - LA Times

Bottom line...no way is it going to occur.

Border Patrol union wants to double the number of border patrol enforcement types. Only problem is you have to double most of the Border Patrol to pull that off. You need detention facilities and courts and lawyers and judges.

No need to round them up. Just make life impossible.

No rational way to do that either.

And the Trump commitment is all gone in two years.

Perhaps his plan involves flying monkeys swooping down and carrying them all away.

E verify, allow cops AND judges to arrest, hold and deport any KNOWN illegal alien, end birthright for any US born kid unless at least 1 parent's a US citizen and so on. Word will get out real fast the US ain't playing and, MOST illegal aliens WILL leave with the stubborn illegals being real quiet.

None of which is practical or doable. And mostly be ignored by the illegal alien. Fantasy seldom fixes anything.

Ending birthright citizenship, e-verify, penalizing sanctuary cities, enforcing current immigration law ect is entirely practical, proper and doable. The only reason it's not "practical" or "doable" is because politicians don't want to do it, nor the media and democrat regressives.

If the incentives for illegal immigration were taken away, the illegals would flee like roaches exposed to light.

The very few that want to stay with little chance to get a job, tax payer benefits and citizenship for their offspring would be insignificant.

Liberal regressives just like to peddle the lie that the US is going to be colonized and conquered by latin Americans and other non-whites who will vote for Democrats and there's no way to prevent it, ha ha whitey. They're right the US is going to be colonized and taken over but preventing it would be extremely easy and doable.

There are ways to fast track the process if they are caught within 100 miles of the border or within 2 weeks. The problem is that after that they are protected by the constitution which gives them the same rights as native born citizens.

The constitution doesn't really give illegals the rights of a citizen. The constitution only states that the US congress will make laws regarding immigration and nationalization. The rest is just revisionist judges manufacturing rights for illegal aliens and politicians ignoring and not enforcing existing immigration laws.
