It is better than Hillary's plan and that is the alternative.

Does his plan include releasing violent convicts back on our streets?

More than 6 million immigrants could be deported under latest Trump plan
Quote:
An estimated 690,000 undocumented immigrants have committed significant crimes that would make them security priorities — felonies or serious misdemeanors — according to a study by the Migration Policy Institute. That number is closer to 2 million, according to some, including Jessica Vaughan of the Center for Immigration Studies, whom the Trump campaign has consulted on the issue.

If visa overstays are also included in the immediate priorities, as Trump said he would order, the number would grow by about 4.5 million individuals, according to estimates that place overstays at about 40 percent of the total undocumented population.

In all, the number of individuals prioritized for removal by ICE agents would range between about 5 and 6.5 million, according to available data and estimates.

Of course Hillary's plan would not stop anybody. Heck; she wants more! Her track record on immigration is terrible; it's worse than Obama's! Of course the third party candidate Gary Johnson isn't any better: Gary Johnson has serious problems with term 'illegal immigrant' | TheHill.

Most of America agrees that we do have a problem. Trump's plans are a start. Of course Trump would not be a dictator and has an uphill battle with the Congress and Judicial departments before many of his 'changes' can go into effect.

Uprooting those that have been here awhile can and should be done though. It can be done by removing all of the incentives for them to remain here.

I don't care about "uprooting" illegal aliens and; IF the US enforced its laws, MOST of their despicable kind would leave real fast.

No He clearly said illegals must leave and they can apply for citizenship to come back. It may. Take ten years or longer....but so be it

Trump is suggesting nothing that is not currently our immigration laws. The problem is, these laws have not been enforced for so long people think he is suggesting something radical.

Of course! Many are blaming Trump for making the laws and Trump had nothing to do with that. If you have problems with any law and you can muster enough support; our legislators would be more that willing to write new laws - but that has not happened in many years with our immigration laws on the books. Most Americans do not take kindly to others braking laws and stealing their jobs.

Just look at the unemployment levels in Detroit. Of course Bill Clinton in February proposed bringing in Syrian refugees to help rebuild the city: VIDEO. Of course Detroit has an over 80% Black population and I don't think they will take kindly to loosing the last few jobs to Clinton's Syrians. Nothing like being kicked in the teeth when you are down on your knees!
