According to the Washington Times one million taxpayers had their SS numbers stolen by illegals and the IRS did not tell us: IRS doesn't tell 1 million taxpayers that illegal immigrants stole their Social Security numbers - Washington Times. I quote from that article: "The IRS has discovered more than 1 million Americans whose Social Security numbers were stolen by illegal immigrants, but officials never bothered to tell the taxpayers themselves, the agency’s inspector general said in a withering new report released Tuesday."

This has been going on for a long time. It isn't that they just found out about the one million. They found out about a few here and there; why did they not tell the taxpayers? What; our government cannot think or tell the truth anymore - it's all about politics! There is no excuse why they did not tell the taxpayers or tried to help them correct the problem.

By the way we have had so many problems with stolen SS numbers; isn't it time for a better system?

DH did some work for a government contractor. His fingerprints along with all other information were hacked. The USA government is providing us with a credit watch service. They notify us if a sex offender moves into the neighborhood. Credit card applications, we hear nothing. We tested it.

A friend was told by Motor Vehicle Agency someone used his drivers license # on some matter and he should clear it up.. what!! No other information.

I also looked at Spokeo where you can find the names of residents who live on a certain street in any town. I put in my address and included with my household was Jose that came up with my last name.. Someone named Jose used my address and last name somewhere for that to come up.
