Seems like Donald Trump's statements on illegal immigration mirror Bill Clinton's 1995 statements:

So exactly when did what Clinton said in his speech become racist hate speech?
What changed?
If you were illegally in this country then you were subject to arrest and deportation. If you are illegally in this country today you are given welfare and possible amnesty.

Did the Democrats lose all common sense? Are we living in an opposite parallel universe?

Is the only thing that the Amnesty bunch cares about is democrat votes every 4 years while America suffers?

Well yeah, but so what? Bill has "grown" and "matured" in his views since then.

Don't forget it was Bill Clinton who signed the Defense of Marriage Act against gay marriage. He was against it before he was for it.

Bill Clinton was also a quietly pro-life governor in a socially conservative southern State until he ran for national office, then he was suddenly pro-abortion. He was against it before he was for it.

Bill Clinton was a free-trade enthusiast, not so much anymore. He was for it before he was against it.

And on it goes.

Me too.

I wonder if Hillary could find a way to stop coughing for a minute so she could explain why she and her husband now oppose what the Clintons endorsed back when the demographics of this country made it safe to do so.

And on and on. It appears that the Republicans of today are more like Clinton when he was President than not. Wasn't the 90s one of the most prosperous times in US history
