According to this news report, the jail is in the top 9% nationwide for ICE detainee's It is an older report but 4,300 ICE detainee's per year are arrest and in their jails.

Their policy on illegals and refugees will probably end up costing them any chance at winning a presidential election for 20-40 years, depending on who the Republicans put up after Trump's gone.

I knew Salinas was bad, but this article cinches it by providing exact figures. Whew! Haven't passed through the town for 20 years at least on the way to Monterey.
And to think Salinas was John Steinbeck's hometown. There is a lovely museum that celebrates his life in town.

I firmly believe this too, and will be interested to see the California politicians lose their minds over having to enforce immigration law. They will fight hard to keep sanctuary cities and other benefits heaped on illegals at the expense of citizens. It will take the Feds, lead by Trump, to put a stop to this before the entire state is lost.
Pure coincidence. America has criminals too. If we legalized them they wouldn't need to break our laws. Without them our lettuce will cost $5.00 a head. Who will mow our lawns.

After the fall of Saigon, thousands of Vietnamese and Cambodian refugees settled in the state of California. Which upset the conservatives who were convinced they would bring crime and disease. The conservatives howled at the thought of having refugees fleeing war and the commies in California.
Instead of bringing crime and disease they opened small businesses, bought homes and their children raised the curve in California schools. The median price of a house in Westminster, CA (home of Little Saigon) is $589,000. How you doin'?

We are the dumping ground to the third world's poor and unsavory via illegal aliens, refugees and those whose ideals and religious beliefs are in conflict with our own. Wait till they reach critical mass and they turn on the citizens of this country. Glad I won't be around to see it but unfortunately my future descendants will be.
