Default Illegals are breaking the law

Illegals are criminals in that they are breaking the law to get here and work here illegally.

It is also a crime to steal a loaf of bread to feed your family just as they work under false papers to feed their families (mostly American citizens). I don't dispute they broke the law coming here and continue to do so by working and living here.

However, to group illegal immigrants with common criminals is wrong. Murderers and thieves (none of this stealing our jobs crap please) are much worse than these people and are in jail for a reason.

Now, I do support deporting all illegals who are prosecuting for felonies. Illegal immigration is a problem but most of them are just here to raise families and work. They don't want problems. So long as they don't commit felonies we should just leave them alone, which is what we basically have been doing.

When a Jaywalker (running across the street to get back to work) is caught, he's cited, whether he's created traffic disturbance or not.
What make's Illegals any better?

Default Illegal JayWalkers

If you want to cite every illegal who jaywalks and deport them, fine. All this will lead to is illegals being very careful before they cross the street and always waiting for the walk signal.

If you want to cite illegals and deport them for other crimes such as drunk driving, domestic violence, minor theft, public intox and the like, that is fine too. I am not opposed to doing this as it will most certainly curb the behavior of the illegals who are here.

I have never met a person cited for jaywalking, though I am sure they are out there.

I was refering more to impact of the crime rather than the crime it'self.

AS: Illegal Border crossing, -v- Jay Walking.
Neither should be ignored or given exceptions to.

Note though that I read about a British professor; Felipe Fernandez-Armesta, who got busted for jaywalking in Atlanta-----------apparently that is not illegal in his native land.

You don't have to be black to know what you say is true.
