Mexicans can live on $10 a day back in Mexico --- they can live on less than half of that. In Mexico things are much cheaper -- doctor visits cost much less because in Mexico doctors don't get anything close to what they get here. Mexican nurses get something like $2 an hour -- versus the $30 to $40 an hour they make in the USA.

$10 in Mexico is a lot of money.

Now if only $2 an hour will pay for their $300k house, $25k car, and $$$$ lifestyle... oh wait, they don't get that in Mexico...

The dentist that I talked to, owns three clinics and said he would always stay at least 50% less that the U.S. dentists. They realize that Americans are not going to make the trek to Mexico if it were not cheaper for them.
