The TTC is planned to span the state of Texas from Laredo, on the Mexican border, to Texarkana, on the border with Arkansas, to continue north to Canada. The projected cost is $183 billion over fifty years, with no American companies expressing interest in financing it.

If the Government wants this thing to be built, forcefully, then they shouldn't make texas pay for it. This is something thats going to benefit these three countries, not Texas only.

They're planning on taking over a half a million acres by imminent domain for right of way for this monstrosity, and allowing a foreign consortium to run it as a toll road for the next 50 years.
Unbelievable. Guess it'll make it easier for illegals to go straight up to Canada though if they are willing to pay the toll. I want to see Texans come out in full force and stop this crazy idea in it's tracks. The Texas I spent 20 years in would not allow this to happen......

These aren't illegals crossing over. They are truckers with a temporary visa.
I'm pretty sure there are security check points to check for this stuff.
You should do some research, man. The plan is they don't even slow down until the 'inland port' in Kansas City. Which, BTW, is designated as sovereign MEXICAN territory...
