The article makes the mistake of calling illegal aliens plain ole "immigrants". Illegal aliens will never be a benefit to our country.

What exactly are the jobs Americans won't do? I know Americans working as maids that clean up all kinds of messes and janitors that clean up actual crap. I also know plenty of people doing construction who now compete against illegals working under the table.

The jobs that Americans won't do are the jobs that they can't get because illegal immigrants took them. Just because the word "won't" is in there doesn't mean what many think it means.

Liberals pretend that these Americans think that the jobs are beneath them. That makes sense in liberal world because most liberals are snobs and think everything is beneath them, including working.

Everyone else knows that "won't" means they won't GET to do them because they can't get them over an illegal.

If all the illegals were drop kicked back to their own countries, we would have all kinds of Americans working who were not working before.

In my observations, and it's not just an opinion, it's the downward pressure on wages. They aren't taking our jobs, they are just doing them so cheaply we can't compete and actually live here. They get to ship that money home and go live there after the season or a year or two. And live very well due to income bifurcation. The rich and the poor. No middle. The middle that made this country. Well f them I guess.

That's the real problem. Downward pressure on wages and benefits.

Illegal immigration. Off shoring. H1b visas. All of it. It's all an erosion of the American standard of living to benefit a few at the top.

So many people want to hate the people that aren't on the private jets. Because its them darn unions that caused the problems, right?

You had your chance, people. His name was Bernie. You reap what you sow now.

I won't say the illegals are "taking" jobs away from Americans. But they sneak in here looking for someone to hire them. They know they're illegal so they work for the cheapest pay.

What this does is poison the well so to speak.
Why should a roofing company hire an experienced roofer and pay him $18/hr when an illegal will do a half- baked job for $7/hr?

This kind of crap is going on all over Los Angeles County.

Accepting a job by working here illegally and for less is the same thing as taking our jobs. As for Bernie from what I understand he would have granted these illegal aliens amnesty just as Hillary is proposing.

What a load of crock. Bernie wanted to let them all come in...free everything for everyone! There would have been even LESS work if your socialist got elected. I'll go ahead and 'reap what I sowed' by not voting for a socialist to give everything away.
