LYNN-A Lynn man was ordered held without bail Thursday during an arraignment for an attack on his wife after she allegedly told him not to have sex with a 15-year-old girl. Jose Perez, 29, of 192 Williams Ave., Lynn, was arrested Thursday on a warrant for aggravated assault and battery, assault with a dangerous weapon, threatening to commit a crime and intimidation of a witness. According to Assistant District Attorney Michelle DiCorsi, police responded to Perez's home Sunday on a report of a man trying to cut a woman with a knife.
Isn't this just peachy keen? How manly of this idiot illegal. NOT!!!

*sigh* Do you know that LEGAL immigrants can get deported when they are convicted of a felony? The story doesn't mention in any way that guy was illegal.
Quote:
He also allegedly threatened to kill the woman’s family in El Salvador if he got deported to his native country for the attack, police said.
Note he was worried about getting deported for the attack not for being illegal.
I'm glad that the chances are good that he'll get deported now. Legal or not, he's a violent, psychopathic, child-abusing pervert and needs to be GONE!!

You sound sympathic to his plight. Always first to defend the indefensible. Maybe he can get a room with you?????
What that guy did is awful and he should be severly punished. But the story in no way shape or form says anything about being ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT. I think that is what blacknight is trying to point out to you. Your post says ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT but the story does not.

This Perez loser is obviously not a US citizen according to the above quote from the article.
Even if he is here 'legally'........read that a green card holder.

You would really hope that our standards for legal immigration haven't slipped so far that pedophile rapists are being allowed to come here and legally.
You may be right. The Bush administration has been so pro-open borders and giving USA citizenship out -- the may have eliminated all background checks and every kind of qualification in order to get as many very quick legal status.
