A very similar bill is being proposed in New Jersey. I think NJ is way too liberal for a bill like this to ever pass. The NJ courts are VERY liberal, and they are the branch with most power here. It will be interesting to see what happens. I'm just glad and surprised the issue is being brought up at all.

According to Glenn Beck, NJ is $32 billion in debt. They need to bring in revenue any way they can and raising taxes is not an option. Maybe fining the illegal enablers will make them some $$$$$$

Well Glenn Beck is dead wrong!

NJ is $33 billion in debt.

I know it seems nitpicky, but a billion dollars is a lot of money to me.

I dont know a whole lot about the bill, but I dont think fines are the punishment being proposed. Loss of license is.

So you guys think it will pass...for economic reasons? I hope you are right, but I am not holding my breath.

OK Jersey friends, call, write, email and tell your liberal lawmakers it time to shape up or ship out. You need relief from the illegal drain and you need it now!
