Hello, I am from Denmark and I would like to ask you if you know any kind of website where I can find mexican immigrants writing their lifestory? It should be about how it was in Mexico, why she/he moved, Mexico vs. USA etc. It could be interviews, short stories etc.

I hope you can help me

Best regards Kenneth

Look into "My History, Not Yours" by Genaro M. Padilla. Also, from a female perspective, "Migrant Daughter: Coming of Age as a Mexican American Woman" by Mario T. Garcia, Frances Esquibel Tywoniak.

Actually, if you want to rent a movie about this subject, I would recommend Mi Familia. Stars Jennifer Lopez and Edward James Olmos. It may not be as funny as Born in East LA, but it gives a deeper and more meaningful story.

Lupe Moreno is the daughter of an illegal immigrant human smuggler who is rabidly anti-illegal. Her's is an interesting story, as well.

yes, that is a great story, but one must remember that the pro-illegal people don't want people to know that there are many Hispanics who are also against the illegal invasion into this country.
