2% of illegal aliens (not just Mexicans) are employed in agriculture. You'd think that a COLLEGE student would have at least a MINIMAL grasp of the situation he's commenting on.

Isn't it kind of hard to come up with facts as pin point as those to account for a population of people that don't legally exist in the U.S?

I don't see George Lopez as a racist. His comedy comes from comparisons between cultures.

GuyPinestra is right.

There are fewer than a million total jobs in agriculture and the number of jobs is expected to decrease.

Agricultural Workers (http://stats.bls.gov/oco/ocos285.htm#outlook - broken link)

Not all farm employees are illegals. It's only estimated to be about 25% of the agriculatural jobs are held by illegals. That's about 250,000 workers at best. There are certainly a whole lot more than 250,000 illegals here.

picking strawberries is small **** compared to running your own farm. I am a very physical person, and i come from a long line of family that is hard working farmers. Im not talking about the redneck half assed good ol boys that own the crappy low life ranches either. Im talking about the real American farmers who make this country thrive. You have to be a serious wimp to think being in the beautiful hot california sun picking strawberries that requires zero skill whatsoever is hard...please

i would pick berries all day long if it was my job and i would appreciate every miniute of it. There is nothing hard about that. I have hired alot of mexicans for buisiness purposes and all i have seen was they are overweight, drunk and lazy because they are fat. Its the truth they will do anything to laze away the day. Until you have dealt with it first hand keep your mouth shut.

His show was great ran for several season's .

Not many show's are as popular as old school Sanford and Son (never same after Lamont left) or All in the Family (never same after Gloria and Meat Head left) but for today's standard .
His show ran long enough.

lol I love the old show's have them on cable though Leave it to Beaver got weird once he got older .

Love George Lopez show just as much.

I was a kid in the 1970's so yes I watched Sanford and Son and All in the Family. Also reruns of Leave it to Beaver once in a while. I agree about Sanford and Son- not the same after Lamont left. I haven't watched George Lopez however.

Now let me clear the air, i am a U.S citizen born and raised. Im currently a college student, and part-time worker, I work hard to get by but i manage. But let me tell you something nothing pisses me off more than to see these lazy ass hill-billys collect welfare and other goverment assisstance, and then have the nerve to complain about undocumented people that pick fruit!

Get a life realize the truth...
You claim to be a U.S. citizen. However, you stated, and I quote: "We ain't going no where!" Your entire post is a figment of your delusional imagination. You are neither a U.S. citizen, nor a college student. If you are in fact enrolled in one of our institutions of higher learning, they should lose their accreditation.
