What "Lord Balfour" is illustrating is how ridiculous "guilt by association" conclusions are made by people who don't understand CONTEXT. This type of perceptual limitation can lead to all sorts of absurdities.

For example, one could conclude that, because many hate-groups are staunch advocates of "free speech", therefore being a free-speech advocate puts you in the same lot with hate-mongers. Never mind that the hate groups want the freedom to spread propaganda and you want to use free speech to educate the public about corporate malfeasance.

Too many people in our society are either incapable of understanding context or conveniently ignore it to further positions which are inherently untenable. So, concerning illegal immigration, they ignore that most Americans are concerned about basic standard of living issues and Nazis are, well, Nazis.

And now, a few words about our sponsor...The Southern Poverty Law Center.

I know that you all thought the Southern Poverty Law Center was an upstandiing civil rights organization. I hate to be the one to burst your bubble, but alas, the SPLC is no more than a frontman organization for a group of people dedicated to careers as paid purveyors of hate speech. The soiled reputations, injured careers, and ruined lives serve only to make money for a scamming elite.

Here are some links to articles on the Internet which expose the agenda, personal motivations, and techniques of the SPLC.

Southern Poverty Law Center Pushes Twisted Definition of 'Hate' - HUMAN EVENTS On the Human Events site, this is an excellent exposé of the empty rhetoric of the organization.

On the Southern Poverty Law Center John Vennari on the SPLC's methodology employed in one of their anti-Catholic campaigns.

Debbie Schlussel The Conservative Jewish commentator takes exception to the litigious side of the SPLC.

Looking*For Hate In All The Wrong Places Judy Andreas on, among other things, branding The Lord of the Rings as white racist propaganda.

http://www.discoverthenetworks.org/A...worldview.html Jacob Laksin discusses the SPLC's history and their technique of fundraising with hysteria.

The Church of Morris Dees [Free Republic] From Harper's Magazine, November 2000: How the Southern Poverty Law Center profits from "intolerance. "

Fun reading guaranteed for all.

Absolutely! Classic ad hominem tactics. Their arguments have no substantive basis. Therefore, they resort to these and other lame tactics in an attempt to lend credence to the ridiculous.

And: Hispanic Spain was extremely pro Nazi during WW II------Hitler supported Franco during the Spanish civil war of 1936-39.

Besides: Argentina was a favorite destination for many Nazis fleeing Germany at the end of WW II.

In other words: be careful comparing anti illegal immigrant Americans to Nazis
