Temporary suspension on immigration into the US for 12 months for those entering the US.

Then figure the next direction out.

I think granting amnesty to any individual who is currently an undocumented immigrant in the US is a start. No guarantee they won't be deported. They'll still have to go through a vetting process and criminal background check. Any undocumented immigrant with amy felony or drug charges will be deported with their family. In addition to, have 24 months once granted immigration status to become a citizen, demonstrate employment in 24 month's, and able to speak English or in ESL classes.

I'm addition to, after 2 month amnesty period any business that hires undocumented immigrants will be shut down indefinitely.

Furthermore, any undocumented immigrant who is in college, college graduate, or served in the US Military will be granted amnesty if they pass background check and vetting process. In addition to, their immediate family will be granted amnesty if again pass background checks and vetting process.

Place a 4,000 immigrants total a year quota, 2,000 refugees a year quota, and 800 VISAS a year quota.

Establish criteria for entering the US and applying for citizenship:
Have family members who are US citizens.
High School or GED. Points added if higher education achieved. Points achieved as well if have a skill or trade.
Ability to demonstrate plans, loans, and so forth in starting a business in the US.
Points added if service in the military or law enforcement.
Points added for medical health professionals. Must have bachelor's or higher in profession to receive points.
Points added on if in the US prior with a VISA, Refugee Status, Sponsorship.
Points added if can speak English. Within two years take an ESL test or proove in an ESL class or risk deportation.
Points deducted for criminal charges.
Unable to apply for citizenship for 24 months if caught trying to enter country illegally.
Indefinite ban on entry into the US if caught smuggling illegal substances in the US.

Organizations, private businesses, and religious institutions can sponsor and take responsibility for individuals they sponsor. After 2 year's those sponsored have to apply for citizenship or return to country of origin.

Refugees have 5 year's of granted asylum in the US. After 5 year's must apply for citizenship or leave the Country.

Goverment can sponsor individuals to work or those who worked for the Government once passed vetting and background checks are automatically granted entry into the US. These numbers do not affect the 4000 a year quota number.

Those who are sponsored, on VISAS, or on refugee status must check in monthly with assigned immigration officer. If fail to check in after a week can risk deportation.

In addition to, instead of a wall on the borders beef up border patrol. Every 20 miles small outpost of agents, every 40 miles small border crossing, 5 larger border crossings spread out across the border, every 100 miles 1 HQ the outpost operate under, Central office with military/hospital/Mexico LE liason/border crossing, 3 marina patrol units, 4 air units covering 500 miles each, and expand national park/natural forest land to increase park ranger presence.

With Maine to Washington Canadian border 1 outpost every 50 miles, 1 HQ every 500 miles, keep current border crossings, 7 marina patrol units, and 4 air units.

With Alaska's border 2 HQ's, marina unit, and 2 air units.

No. Enforcing the law is the key to solving our immigration issues. There is a reason that this laws were put into place and if you live among the illegal aliens very long, it becomes VERY clear why we have these laws!

Become more familiar with the "issue":

The Myth of the

Victims of Illegal Aliens Memorial

Illegal Immigration is a Crime

We enforce the laws against our own citizens, over 1 million for committing non-violent crimes, many having children who end up in foster care and families that needed the income brought in by the imprisoned citizen to survive, why would we do anything less for an illegal alien?

Just enforce the law, and it appears that President Trump is on board with this!

I disagree. No illegal alien should be granted amnesty. They had no respect for our immigration laws and therefore should not be rewarded for it. Americans need their jobs back how does amnesty accomplish that? We tried amnesty back in 1986 and now we have at least quadruple the number of illegal aliens here today. When do these amnesties end?

We have annual quotas for legal immigration granting amnesty to millions of illegal aliens would negate those sane quotas for many years to come.

Why doesn't the Muslim oil rich countries accept them? They have vast riches and land. Maybe because they are unwanted.

You don't see the refugees run for Iran or Saudia Arabia. A lot closer than swimming.

There is a law on the books already that if a person from a country commits a crime his country of origin has to take him back and if they do not then all legal immigration is stopped from there until they do.

Why should we pay to house people in prison who break our laws. This is made even worse when the person is here illegally.

Imagine all the money we would save if all the illegals were gone and the taxpayers didn't have to carry them and their families. We could use the extra money to make the Liberal dream of paying everyone $15 an hour and citizens might actually do the jobs that illegal immigrants do now if they are getting paid well.
