Marty Laifer --- The globalists in Congress are scrambling to ram through amnesty for almost one million illegal immigrants before the lame-duck session ends.
Today, Senators Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Dick Durbin (D-IL) introduced the so-called "Bridge Act."
But they're not the only Senators pushing this legislation.
Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) and radical progressive Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) are "Bridge Act" cosponsors -- and are helping Graham and Durbin gather more cosponsors.
This disastrous legislation would shield almost one million illegal immigrants from deportation for the first three years of Donald Trump's presidency.
This is a slap in the face to the American public and a direct attempt to undermine the will of the people.
Not only that, this bill would further expose Americans to risk from potentially dangerous illegal immigrants who have already displayed their disregard for the laws of our country.
And if Senators Graham and Durbin are able to drum up enough cosponsors to push this through the Senate...
...you can bet that Speaker of the House and known globalist, Paul Ryan, will rush it through the House and onto President Obama's desk for his eager signature.
That's why stopping this bill right now -- before it comes to a vote in the Senate -- is so critical.

I hope this is blocked and know my congress people will be working for American citizens, not the global interest of dumping more burden on our backs!

The only bridge I want is a draw bridge by the way of the Wall. Put them out and keep them out.

The Republicans control both the Senate and the House. I seriously doubt it will pass.

It's not a dead issue yet.

If Trump “repeals [DACA] then we ought to immediately pass legislation to extend their legal status,” claimed Graham, who is strongly supported by his home state’s business community. “The overall problem” is an immigration system that Graham and other Republican Senators, plus their business allies, say is not bringing in enough cheap blue-collar workers, nor enough foreign white-collar professionals, nor enough welfare-aided consumers — despite record levels of immigration into the United States.

"I'll tell you what I'm going to do in 2017," SC Senator Lindsey Graham told Politico. "I'm going to take the Gang of Eight bill out, dust if off and ask anybody and everybody who wants to work with me to make it better to do so."

"The hour we can move it, we've got to move it," AZ Senator Flake said back in July.

AZ Senator McCain was part of the original gang of eight amnesty bill. He and Graham seem to be joined at the hip these days. My guess is he is pushing it again as well.

Although FL Senator Rubio was also a member, he has not yet agreed to be part of its revival. At present, he seems uninterested. Maybe he has learned his lesson.

Even if just a few Senate Republicans vote with the Democrats who want this it will pass. I am not sure where the House Republicans stand on the issue.

On the original bill McCain, Rubio, Flake and Graham were joined in voting “yes” by these Republican Senators:
Lamar Alexander (Tenn.)
Kelly Ayotte (N.H.)
Jeff Chiesa (N.J.)
Susan Collins (Maine)
Bob Corker (Tenn.)
Orrin Hatch (Utah)
Dean Heller (Nev.)
John Hoeven (N.D.)
Mark Kirk (Ill.)
Lisa Murkowski (Alaska).

Ayotte, Kirk, and Chiesa are all gone now, so there won't be enough Senators to override a veto if this bill got to Trump's desk in the first place.

Those senators were replaced with Democrats. Senator Thom Tillis of NC says he is confident that the bill he is proposing will get bipartisan support and the 60 votes needed. That makes it veto-proof.
