Large American, Mexican and LGBT flags dotted the scene. Many marchers held home-drawn signs, some with likenesses of the Statue of Liberty and President Trump. Other signs carried phrases like “No human is illegal” and “Cut your own (expletive) grass!”

They fly the Mexican flag here. Sadly, that is not the worst of what they brought from Mexico with them. They outlawed keeping roosters here, yet some still have them. Also,a pitbull issue. This is not Mexico and we do not want to become Mexico. If they want that, they need to pack it up and go home.

Animal cruelty in a yard flying the Mexican flag is still animal cruelty per OUR laws and this is still OUR country!

I live in L.A and have had the rooster issue . Getting woken up at all hours 3am . Seems to have stopped. But stopped before and then started again ...

In process of moving to a more decent neighborhood in L.A , the city councilperson in the area is the ONLY Republican councilman in the whole city . Could be why it's nicer .

I was born here but the way things are going don't make me too optimistic .
It's a shame because things could be better with better policies but the liberal policies have degraded the city .

This Mayor is even more to the left and worse than the previous one .

But like Obama he puts on a nice suit and nice smile and says the "right" buzzwords and people eat up his B.S

I guess the mayors in Chicago and Detroit are similar who is going to admit they are failures right ?

This is very sad. I wish ICE would appear at these protests and start hooking people up and loading the vans. These people have some guts to go out and wave the Mexican Flag. That would not happen where I live! Soon, the illegals will fear ICE if you read about the new Executive Orders by Trump and new Executive Memos from DHS Secretary Kelly, times are changing and the Illegals will soon be running for their lives....

Give it time, it may start happening. This is only the very beginning of the next 4 years.
