Maybe one day we go back to the basics where legal aliens are the ones who will gain respect again and illegal aliens will act accordingly to their status.

Over the last 8 years it seemed that legal aliens lost their voice and illegal aliens were the loudest and most respected of the bunch.

Legal aliens are scared to do anything wrong to harm their case, worried about overstaying, anxious that all paper and fee are filled out/paid correctly and anxious about the time frame to get to the next step or waiting for an interview.

If you read some visa/immigration blogs than you can see how many legal aliens have questions and seek help.

Meanwhile illegal aliens didn't worry about payment of fees or leaving the country and returning and paying for the cost of leaving and returning and application fees and/or thousands of dollars to pay for a lawyer.

Often traveling for hours to maintain their passport status for their native country as we had to go to Miami to the consulate to renew our passports. That's a 5 hour drive to get there on time and heading back another 5 hours.

Nobody need to be feel sorry about that but aside from all of that many immigrants deal with separation of families by choice but that doesn't take away the feeling of missing their family and being split up.

Some times people don't realize at the time of immigration how much they can miss family, etc.

It is a choice they made.

Illegal aliens made their choice. Their kids may be innocent in coming here but at some point they have to make a choice to stay together or go back together and stop blaming American who don't agree with coming here illegally.

It is their parents who they need to blame!
