USA TODAY’s editorial “When ‘sanctuary cities’ go too far” was a breath of fresh air and simple common sense. How governments can protect criminal undocumented immigrants is beyond the pale. Cities and police agencies that refuse to work with Immigration and Customs Enforcement should be prosecuted under racketeering and corruption laws. They are clearly working in a conspiracy to obstruct and delay the enforcement of federal laws. At some point, another heinous criminal act by an undocumented immigrant will take place, resulting in criminal and civil action against government officials who have created “sanctuary” for those who have no place in our communities.

Not exactly, just Harald Martin from Anaheim, California and Dave Gorak from La Valle, Wisconsin who apparently didn't peruse the original editorial before writing their letters to the editors in response...
