Secure the frickin border, and fine the living crap out of employers caught taking advantage of cheap illegal labor. Until that is done, nothing else matters. We throw out the thugs, they come right back. We deport these college kids? They get great jobs in Mexico because they are well educated and bilingual to boot. And Mexico laughs and says " thanks for the free education, suckers"
It a false to assume that immigrants have something to do with lowering our standard of living or suppressing wages.

The vast majority of immigrants take low paying jobs - undesirable for Americans. They keep prices low so you can enjoy cleaning services in your home, buy or rent cheap homes and apartments, Eat $5 Hamburgers and $7 Chipoltle. The do crappy Agricultural work that keeps small US farms from going bankrupt. They clean your schools and serve school lunches. In short they make your life better by making your quality of living better.

Those lost jobs were not caused by immigration but Globalization and Free Trade; Blame that on transportation, automation and the politicos for the last 25 years and don't seek scapegoats for rapid economic changes. Blame Big Business and the politicians who support them - record stock market levels - records profits for Fortune 500 companies (Drug Companies, Industrial Companies, IT Companies) yet only some 50-100K type jobs created here and many greedy companies lobbying for H1Bs to outsource entire departments.

Yet, yet, yet .... who is in power ? The house, the Senate, the Presidency in Republican hands - the party of Corporate America - the stocks rise higher and the rich all soon to receive large (unneeded) tax breaks. You Trump supporters have had your bias exploited so we could have a completely populist campaign against an innocent group of people along with a rival political party. Want proof ? Look no further than the latest legislative meltdown on HealthCare - business as usual in DC - nothing done despite control of Congress/Executive branch and who gets blamed ? The Democrats. Judge those in power by what they get done (or don't get done) - not by what they say or the smoke they blow to cover their tracks.

The H1B program does not take low paying jobs, and cheap illegal labor absolutely puts downward pressure on wages. Roofers in a California used to make a living wage. Now, they want people to do it for ten dollars an hour like the illegals will. Employers love that. Between H1B abuse and illegal labor the downward pressure on wages is a real thing.

I bear these people no malice and I believe we should have a seasonal guest worker program for people that
just want to work during harvest season, and then take their money home with them, or the like.

When my son was looking for a fast food job, it was bilingual only.

Our corporate masters and their ******* in Washington have let this go on far too long.

White color jobs? I think we can cover that: Whose jobs are done by illegal immigrants? | Fresno Bee

Construction? We have a lot of roofers and builders undercut by those that hire illegal aliens: https://www.thesocialcontract.com/bo...on-worker.html

Immigration's impact on American workers: Immigration

Jobs American Won't Do: https://www.numbersusa.org/pages/jobs-americans-wont-do

And, let's not forget what their presence does to our black citizens: Civil-rights commish: Blacks hammered by illegal immigration And, if these rapists were black, there would be no defending them as we all know how blacks have been treated in our country from the time they were brought in chains to today. Seriously, there is no shortage of attacks against our black population not working, even though illegal aliens are taking their jobs, having children which others think they should abort while embracing illegal aliens have 5 or 6 that we pay to deliver and raise. I think we know who the true racists are here. These people have broken laws to be here and they ALL NEED TO GO, I don't care if someone has to pay 50 cents more for their hamburger, cook the darn thing at home!

Of course, the rapists come here to make a better life for themselves, not work. They can commit crimes, rape our women and children and get much better treatment making their life better in doing this, fulfilling their "sickness".

As to why they didn't go apply as foreign students or whatever? They were raised here. They think of themselves as Americans. Some don't even speak Spanish. Would it occur to you to go to the consulate?

Ps. the census says we spend on avg 10,000 per pupil per year on education. I do not think it makes sense to throw $120,000 worth of education out the window just because it pisses some people off. They graduated from high school or are still in school with good grades and were raised here? Give them a green card already. You drop out of school and start becoming what looks like a drain on society? Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out, cause you are leaving.

That's a policy that makes sense. Not an emotional " throw them all out"

"You are more interested in punishing them than doing what makes sense for America."

According to YOU.

Sorry, many of us do NOT agree with you.

Rewarding people who are a guilty of breaking our laws is NOT GOOD for America.
