This is nuts . Are the citizens of Seattle really going to be on board with this ?
Seeing these liberal mayors fight so hard for illegals that aren't even citizens is just nuts.
I could see this backfiring . Especially when more people become aware of the crime committed by illegals which has mostly been covered up by the media .
Seattle is very rich and has very few illegal immigrants anyway. More visa-holders that overstay visa's.
It seems like Seattle illegal immigrant population is just a tiny bit of the population.
This is just a political statement to solidify and rally the liberal crudentials of the people who run the city.
Liberal Democrats love to make political statements to appease their left-wing base. Seattle is famous for doing that.
Seattle likes to pander to the liberal of leftists and because it's such a rich city with an extremely high barrier of entry and also close to a rich country, it knows it won't ever have the consequences of illegal immigration like other cities will.
Some people don't grasp the Christian concept that we are all God's children. Other people are just downright mean.
I embrace "an eye for an eye", not turn the other cheek to be hit there also. And, we have separation of church and state, and if that doesn't suit you, try Islam where church and state are one.
Enforcing our laws? Done everyday. Will you be protesting at a prison today asking them to "turn the other cheek" and open the cell doors realizing those separated from their families?

And, much of that comes in the way of enforcing our laws and protecting our borders. It is so simple!

We're not a theocracy. Nice try. You're free to donate to impoverished people in other countries through your church or other non-profit, or move abroad to help them in their own countries, or even join a religious cult in the US if you want to live in a little theocracy. But you have zero right to force other Americans to live with people who break the law and have not been vetted to come here.
