Illegal Immigrants Can Now Obtain IDs In Chicago | Daily Wire

Quote:
The city of Chicago just allowed illegal immigrants to obtain municipal identifications.

The Chicago Sun-Times reports that the city council voted 44 to 4 in favor of making such IDs available to the city's populace, including illegal immigrants, at the urging of Mayor Rahm Emanuel, who stated that the city council had "a moral obligation" to provide these IDs to bring people "out of the shadows."

"We are a welcoming city," Emanuel said. "Everybody in this chamber has, one time or another, talked about taking people out of the shadows into the daylight to help them."
It's like Chicago is competing with the California coast to see who can be the dumbest in the nation, and with D.C. for who's the most corrupt.

Geez Do they really need another reason to turn would be visitors away?
I mean with the constant bullets flying from idiots that have no legal right to own a gun and now allowing illegal aliens who have no accountability to the law to "come out of the shadows". What sane person would risk their lives to go to Chicago?

Emanuel doesn't seem to care about the gun violence since very little is done about it except to pick up the pieces in the aftermath so I wonder how many tears he will shed when one of his precious illegal aliens is shot during a drive by?

Ridiculous.

Hopefully all the illegals will sign up there, and someone will slip ICE the roster for quick and easy pickup!

We know this is driven by businesses/wealthy individuals slipping cash in the pockets of the politicians, so they can keep their cheap labor. There is nothing compassionate about it neither to illegals or our citizens.

The Chicago Police have their hands full fighting violent crime, if you want them to do something about illegal immigrants either send them more money or send ICE.

Despicable. The ONLY time an illegal alien "needs" an ID is when that person's getting ready to be deported and banned from the US.
