Legal or illegal aliens? Illegals just need to leave. Period.

It's not the responsibility of every rich, functional country to take care of the non dysfunctional ones. They were brought here as a temporary favor of good will. Time to go home and fix up your own house.

I say if they have integrated into American society and have become contributing members let them stay but if they have been breaking the law repeatedly and if any of them are currently in prison then send them back.
We have enough of our own home grown idiots that are tearing up the place with their crimes. We don't need to import anymore.

I could see that as reasonable. However, with the root of the problem is TPS itself

It's just the Canadians and their inferiority complex. Remember when, during Bush II's Presidency, they would wear shirts when they traveled saying, "I am not an American" with a big Maple Leaf on it? Now they're back to wanting to be American again. In Europe, nobody cares about this topic.

Quite the opposite. I've known people who received better treatment (particularly in Hilland and France) once they told people while traveling they were Canadian and not American

I think you misunderstood my point. Probably, I wasn't clear enough. Canadians want to be called American only when it suits them. They want Americans to stop using the word as if it only means U.S. Citizens only when it suits them. That more clear?
