Yes, thankfully Texas falls within the 5th Circuit federal court of appeals. They aren't hostage to the leftist loons on the 9th Circuit.

Awesome. Until we start holding elected officials responsible, illegal sanctuaries will continue to exist.

TexasTribune has the best coverage of Texas Politics -- funny to read the Leftist comments on this legislation. The Leftists are convinced that a California Judge has control of what the Texas Legislature passes and the Texas Governor signs into Law.

This Law (which is now back in the Senate) just says that Texas must follow Federal Law.
Radical!!

The outcome will certainly be much different with Sessions as AG. He's not going to sue every state that abides by immigration laws.
Lefties here in Texas are howling, but Abbott is standing firm, thank goodness.

Let him stand firm YES but let's see his and the legislature reaction when the avalanche of lawsuits and boycotts start biting the Texas and its businesses. Now we'll know the true meaning of the Lone Star state! This is a foolish law and I predict it will be struck down.
