Cut illegals off at the source (employers) then worry about a border fence.

And if the rest of the states followed suit, we wouldn't even need to spend the tax dollars on a fence. Without any incentive, they wouldn't bother coming.

A good fence makes good neighbors.

Gone is the era where we had to refrain from expressing our racist and ignorant views, now we have these protected platform, which alow us to live
multiple personalities.
The reality is that we have to deal with this situation in a very sensible way,
and that the 'red neck dreams ' of geting rid of 15 million undocumented
overnite will never happen, in any case we can hope to slow down or halt
future ilegal immigration, and I think that would be enough success.
I don't know where the idea of rounding them all up and doing a mass deportation is even possible. The goverment does not even know where they are and shipping 15 million undocumented workers back home is totally irrational. For one thing it is going to take a lot of money to do that and this country is almost bankrupt. How do we pay trillions for a war and still have plenty left over to hunt undocumented workers.

If there are no jobs they will not come, I don't believe that much is being done to the employers yet, It will surprise me if we see a lot of that anyway.
Are you all really convinced that the goverment is going to take care of the immigration problem?

I'm just not for government waste. If nobody is trying to sneak in, why waste the money? As things are now, the fence IS necessary.

From everything I have read, it is working well in Arizona. Illegals are leaving in droves. I havent read anything about Oklahoma yet.

Well, I live in Arizona and yes Wackenhut has been taking them back to Mexico on a daily basis maybe two or three times, but we have plenty here, they are still coming in droves too.
