What about Mexico's brutal putdown of a bunch of 'student' protesters back in 1968?
Only now is justice being served.
Face it; barinnas, compared to Mexico, my country abides by the rule of law
The 1960's, isn't that the time when we still had apartheid in the U.S., people
were lynched in public, black churches bombed?
we all need to face that our beloved country, the United States is not anywhere as correct as some people try to make beleive.
1. the fight for civil rights
2. the protest to end our entanglement in Vietnam
You would be surprised at what the American people can do when united.
Civil rights?, a piece of paper does not make the difference, the United States remain one of the most racist countries in the world, we continue with a lot of abuse and neglect, we are very high in crime, drug use, pornography, pedophiles, serial killers, facist groups, cultural ignornce, etc.
We need to correct all these, and being, iliterate and racist will not help the cause.
OBTW - the protests are working for the illegal immigration issue - Americans have protested to the point where something is finally being done
If that is what you are counting on I hope it comes true. Why is it that the citizens of this country, care about your feelings on immigration and the goverment does not? There is a reason for it and I think we will find out down the road.

If it is that bad, I am surprised you chose to make it your home. If you were born here, then I am surprised you stay.

This country is only as bad as you make it sound, Pro Illegals blame the legal citizens for the crimes created by the Illegals.
Why don't you move to Mexico?
I'm saying that there is no way you cannot say that there is not corruption in our goverment and if you say that you, I or anyone else can change it, that is untrue. The Mexican people cannot change their goverment either. It is not a comparison on which country is the most corrupt, corruption in any country is not good and the people are unable to change it.
You can still compare countries.
If I say Baghdad has a higher murder rate then Zurich, You can't simply say "But there was a murder last week in Zurich so they are similar." At least if you want to be taken seriously.
Notice we aren't talking abut a MINOR difference. The US ranks 7.2 number 20 just below France and Japan.
Mexico is a 3.5 at number 72 alongside India and China.
As far as dealing with Corruption we do it all the time. Do we get every last bit of it, of course not. NO country does.
We have even gotten rid of an American President for corruption, does the name Richard "Tricky Dick" Nixon ring a bell?
We have sent Senators, Mayors, Governors, and practically every other form of government official to jail for corruption
Does the name Spitzer ring a bell?
What about Harrison A. Williams (D-NJ), and five members of the House of Representatives (John Jenrette (D-SC), Richard Kelly (R-FL), Raymond Lederer (D-PA), Michael "Ozzie" Myers (D-PA), and Frank Thompson (D-NJ),
Just to name a few more.
As far as the American people taking action when we dislike what the government is doing, we have stood up and had an effect a number of times.
We have stopped Wars (Vietnam), Passed Civil Rights legislation (1960s), and even fought a Civil War costing us hundreds of thousand of lives.
This country was founded on the people rising up, and quite often they still do when enough is enough.

You're right, some people just will not admit that USA is not perfect, it has plenty of warts to go around.

Yeah, sure, we've screwed up the country, but let's scapegoat, blame the
migrant workers
