Immigration officials arrested an Australian man last week after he reportedly overstayed his United States visa by 90 minutes.

Baxter Reid, 26, was arrested on April 24 after Canadian border patrol agents denied him and his girlfriend entry to their country, The Canberra Times reported.

Oh well.

Just cause you're "white" AND from an English speaking country does NOT give you any more "rights" over a Spanish speaking Indian from LatAm if both of you are here illegally.

Saw a couple of stories like this last year. One ended up coming on a k1 and is still here and the other had her husband move to Russia. Both were white, one Russian one from Australia

This visa has it rules and regulations and any lawyer will tell you that you don't jeopardize to wait till the last flight on day 180 but if due to weather flights are delayed then better make sure you leave on day 170 to be within the time frame as overstaying is not an excuse!

Canada recently deported a Dutch man who was illegally in Canada for over 50 years and had a criminal record dated back to over a decade and he took care of his sick, elderly mom... he was send back to his native country without speaking the language and didn't have any family over there and never lived there other then as a young child.

Canada didn't care so why should other countries. The man who was deported was taken in by the Red Cross as he had no job, no home and no bed... the government took care of that man so he had a warm bed upon arrival.
