you, those that you WANT to reach, ignore you.

"The vast majority of illegal aliens are here to work and prosper."

So, explain how they can do that LEGALLY.

The first thing on any application after your name is your Social Security number.

How do they fill that in?

" Most come to work and become permanent Americans."

Just by BEING ILLEGAL stops them from being Americans.

But, people like you will never get it.
Bolded part very well.said.

That should be written right into part of the forum rules and guidelines.
So many do that here to other members.

I also have wondered about that social security number issue.

I think allot of illegals get away with it by shady American citizens covering for them. They make a buck of off them doing that which is part of the whole problem.

Are children detained when their parents are arrested for other crimes? It sucks when your parents break laws. The bad guys in the story are the law breaking parents.

Right but then they could be deported without getting a chance to get their children back and the child enters the foster system on the tax payers dollar which isn't ideal either.

The vast majority of illegal aliens are here to work and prosper. Some of course will take advantage of support offered but it is a minority. Most come to work and become permanent Americans.

And deporting the parent may very well create a welfare situation where none existed before. Cost of the deportation.
Excellent points.

Excellent points.
ALL illegal aliens ARE lawbreakers, just by being in the US. Period.

Exactly

The term "law-abiding illegal alien" is an oxymoron.

It surprises me how many people don't get that.

Wonder no more. This is how they do it---1) They steal the identity of an American citizen; 2) They use a fake SSN. That fake SSN often turns out to be a number that belongs to a living person, who like ID theft victims, gets put into a world of hurt.

Despicably, there is a loophole in the law that says it's okay if someone else uses your SSN as long as they don't use your name with it. If that happens to you, the SSA won't tell you. You only find out at tax time when the IRS comes after you for not filing a return for a job you never worked.

Right now there are 8 million no-match SSNs in the US workforce.

It's beyond disgusting that no politician on either side of the aisle has made a move to close that loophole.

They can still send for their children. The foster care system holds on them for some time before they become available for adoption, usually years. We are already paying for the anchor babies one way or the other unless they move out of the country.

Those that cared about their children were either setting up guardianship or dual citizenship, article links were provided here some time ago.

Oh, geesh, are you actually serious when you keep saying that "ILLEGALS" are overwhelming law abiding people? Do you know the meaning of ILLEGAL? My guess is that if we go to a large prison tomorrow, we will find that the majority were OVERWHELMINGLY law abiding people except for the law they broke, or laws just like in the case of the illegals.

"Law abiding illegal aliens" has the same sound as "nails on a chalkboard" (for those that remember the olden days of chalkboards anyway).

Yep, either entering without authorization or overstaying visa is breaking the law. You would think by this time that would start to sink in, and you would be WRONG!

Yes, the fraud involved in SSNs is yet another crime that the illegal just can't really stay away from. They steal identities in order to work when they have no right to work and to obtain other services including public assistance. Yeah, "otherwise law-abiding" NOT!

And the fault is with the parents. Criminals only care about themselves. Screw the kids, screw everyone else. A very common criminal mentality. Chances are the kids are already on welfare and already a tax payer burden.
