This is the best paragraph from the second article

"The Kent school board really ought to be embarrassed and ashamed of themselves for being so stupid as to believe the unrealized distortions from the hair-on-fire Left in regards to immigration enforcement over the actual fact that immigration law has not changed."

In the first paragraph the school actually blames Trump.

I hope the parents can unite to head off the schools decision. I'm sure the kids have been working toward their trip all year and getting excited. What a stupid excuse not to go.

When I was a kid there was a ski trip that my fellow students went on every year and guess what I didn't have the money to go so I didn't. It was no big deal. I'm sure there are kids that do have passports but they don't have the money to go to Canada with the class group. What happens to them? Chances are they stay home.

The liberals are using this to make Trump and his upholding of our immigration laws to look bad.....
They want to punish republicans by making them look responsible for this and get mileage for the 2018 elections.

The school admin went too far and exercised poor judgment by canceling the trip. I'm sure common sense will prevail and this will not occur again in the future.

I can remember in high school that the big trip of the year for the marching band was the trip to Victoria, B. C. This was a long time ago so it is a big tradition among Puget Sound high schools. It is sad that so many traditions are being cut because of P. C.
