WASHINGTON ― New figures indicate President Donald Trump is following through on his promise to crack down on undocumented immigrants, with deportation officer arrests up by about 38 percent during the first 100 days of his presidency compared to the same period last year.

Def a good start.

We already denied a few immigrants with papers for renting through our office due to lack of income that can be proven as well as not allowed to work over here so how can they prove any income that is legal?

All of them claimed to get a green card very soon so we sent them away with the message that they can apply when they have a work permit that is valid for at least a the full term of one lease as well as proof of income or other proof of funds.

One had proof of $ 700 on a W2 showing the Muslim College in Miami and claimed to be self employed but no tax returns to show for and neither a drivers license that was valid for longer than 1 month and showed "temporary on it.

Another one got paid for his education from Saudi-Arabia and had no proof of funds for anything else so we asked how do you pay your car, food, clothes, etc. for and he told us that Saudi Arabia paid for it all, but he didn't have any proof but his proof was that he was still here for years and no late payments.

Another one came from South America and both applicants had no working allowed on their SSN and he told us he works under the table and so did she but she was 8 months pregnant... so we told them that only money that can be proven can be included.

It is unbelievable and this was for the last few months. That's aside from all the other liars we denied and who are from all background, race, etc.

Arresting them is one thing but I bet most of these judges will release the majority of them who have no criminal record. Resist all you want but you and others of your ilk will realize that immigration reform with a path to legal residency is the way forward.

The number actually deported however remains the same. All this nonsense is doing is clotting up a screwed up system more.

What they are doing is picking the low lying fruit to look good. The problem is that low lying fruit fights back and is expensive. So them may well end up arresting more and deporting less.

And they may very well end up with less bad guys than the prior administration as they chew up resources on the lower priority cherry picks.

Lies!
I've got NO problem resisting illegal aliens and their fans till I die. Especially since our side will win if talking at least NON Dream Act people.

I'm gonna say almost 100 percent of illegal aliens ARE committing felonies just to survive in the US. Period.

The illegal aliens are certain to win. They will dance on your grave. The will eventually die out of old age if not replenished but if you folk continue they will be.

Amazing how happily you defeat yourselves.

It's interesting that pro illegals like to call them noncriminals when they're breaking the law by being here, but it's not surprising since pro illegals think they only have to follow the laws that work for them.

Being here is not a criminal offense. Get over it.
