However, this would mean adios to the parents if the child is placed in one.
She'll end up in a group home someday anyway. They birthed her here so she's our responsibility now. Not her fault, but it still sucks all around.

I'd rather just get rid of the illegal parents. They can take her with them if they so desire.

Letting illegals stay is a kick in the face to those who came legally, my wife is one of them, have any of you ever tried the process, it is costly and time consuming, so why should those who came illegally be allowed to cut in front of those who want to do it legally, and not have to jump through the hoops and pay the fees that those who did it legally had to.
I completely agree.

Because of this, it's a more complicated problem than just telling everyone they have to leave, after decades of their being told by the government that it was OK to stay.

Kicking people out, especially those who have been here for decades with roots in communities, is cruel. What we need is a pathway to citizenship for those without criminal records.
No, it's NOT cruel! What IS cruel is turning America into a third world country to please greedy businessmen, politicians, and special interest groups.

I WILL NOT tolerate the cries of illegals anymore.

We always hear about the poor illegal but nobody but Trump seems to care about the harm these people are doing to our country and legal citizens. Your post is right on.

This is why I don't listen to PBS, anymore.

It's an even worse Leftist propaganda machine than CNN. Their content, in recent years, has become absolutely nauseating.

it was just a matter of time that MSM got hold of disabled children of illegal aliens story to pull at our heartstrings. Interesting that the majority of reader responses to the PBS article did not bite on the boo-hoo story.

This child has no life; she will eventually end up in a special care home, unless the parents are provided with 24/7 live-in nurses. Either way, we pay.

I have no sympathy whatsoever for law breakers who are living on taxpayer services that should be reserved for legal citizens. I am tapped out.
