Republicans in the House of Representatives are moving forward with sweeping immigration legislation that would crack down on sanctuary cities, hire thousands of new armed immigration officers and help facilitate President Donald Trump’s plans to deport undocumented residents.

Sweeping immigration enforcement legislation passes House committee

Once Trump signs this: load em up and move em OUT!

Every suicide bombing/acttack in Europe increases the likelihood that this will pass. And it can't come soon enough (the passing of the bill, not the bombing)

It may take some years before we can harvest the results from the cost of illegal aliens but in the long run our kids should benefit from the relieve of burden due to cost of crime, less crimes, less injuries which means less medical cost, due to illegal aliens crimes and none payment of taxes.

The loss of illegal aliens not paying for USCIS fees like the rest of did for a long time to be in compliance is another loss and it is a crime!

The government who did nothing and encouraged this behavior should also be held responsible for not following the laws as they signed them.

That crap won't pass. So far, Trump's WH & the Republican controlled Congress have been experiencing a cascade of failures that will not letup until they propose common sense and balanced legislation.

To most people enforcing our laws is common sense. There should always be a penalty for unwanted behavior.
Most countries enforce their immigration laws, including our neighbor, Mexico.
Define balanced? Free pass for the millions of criminals imposing themselves upon us?

Did you notice the absurd remarks made by congress members and invasion cheerleaders? For example, from the article:

Among a long list of other provisions, HR 2431 would transform an undocumented immigrant’s presence in the U.S. from a civil violation to a criminal misdemeanor. It would essentially “turn millions of Americans into criminals overnight,” Rep. Jerrold Nadler, a New York Democrat, said at a hearing last week.

“Being alive would be a misdemeanor,” Rep. Zoe Lofgren, D-San Jose, the ranking Democrat on the Judiciary Committee, said in an interview. “I can’t recall an immigration bill that was more extreme.”

--------------------------------------------
^Seriously? Rep. Nadler --- illegal aliens are not "Americans". Zoe Lofgren --- Seriously? "Being alive would be a misdemeanor". Do these 2 reps know how ridiculous they sound?
---------------------------------------------

And then there is this:

“It’s not hyperbole to say that it is one of the most anti-immigrant bills to be marked out of the Judiciary Committee in the history of the nation,” said Jose MagaŮa-Salgado, an attorney at the San Francisco-based Immigrant Legal Resource Center. “This legislation represents a grab bag of all the destructive things that can make our immigration system even worse.”

----------------------------------------------

Ummm...Jose? It's not "anti-immigrant". It's anti-illegal alien. As an attorney, you should know the difference. You come off as ignorant when you deliberately attempt to lump illegal aliens with legal immigrants.

ETA: I've mentioned this in another thread. I'm a member of CAPS and through them, I sent an "action alert" to my congresswoman urging her to support Davis-Oliver. It's free to join CAPS and free to send "action alerts"

It always amazes me when the pro-illegals try to lump illegal aliens in with those who entered our country legally. This legislation is just an enforcement of current laws. Something our former president didn't seem to have much regard for.
