HARTFORD, CONN.
A student originally from Mexico, Eric Cruz Lopez was among the most visible immigration activists on the University of Connecticut campus — up until he was charged with spray-painting expletives about President Donald Trump on the walls of school buildings.

Now his arrest is hurting the push for a bill that would allow students without legal immigration status at the state's public colleges and universities access to financial aid.

Cruz, who had testified himself in favor of the legislation, was charged on May 7 with more than 100 counts of misdemeanor vandalism. Police said he gave a statement admitting to the vandalism and offering to discuss restitution. He did not respond to requests for comment.

Keep it up, you despicable ungrateful losers. All you kind are doing is pissing off more and more people want illegal aliens GONE.

While this students puerile behavior is regrettable and appalling, I do not support deporting him. On the issue of in-state tuition to illegals, I do not support that as well.

He broke the law by trespassing into this country, then he keeps breaking the law. And then when he graduates, what? He will break the law again to get employment. Send the guy packing home.

This is an example of the precedent that was set by our former President and the Dems at large.

One would think that it would dawn on him that he was in the country illegally and that he should keep his head down but no he had to do something stupid.

The bigger question is why is tax payer, donor, financial aid money going to illegal aliens?
Are they just attending classes that American students couldn't be bothered going to?

I'm sure there are many legal citizens who would appreciate a bit of help going to college.

Does the university of Conn have a feel good PC quota of illegal aliens they need to place?

Send him "home". He has no respect for our laws or our President. Frankly, I feel that most of these illegals brought in with their lawless parents will continue to be a thorn in our sides. Decent parents teach their children to respect the law.
