Ten Republican Attorney Generals are threatening to sue the Trump administration over its refusal to immediately rescind the Obama administration’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program benefiting young undocumented immigrants.

In a letter to Attorney General Jeff Sessions, the attorney generals called for the government to phase out the program by refusing to accept new enrollees and refusing to renew current permits. State attorney generals from Texas, Arkansas, Alabama, Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, Nebraska, South Carolina, Tennessee and West Virginia signed the letter, as well as Idaho Governor Butch Otter.

Wow. More and more people are coming out and saying it's time for illegal aliens to leave the US.

So glad to hear this. Trump promised to rescind DACA but he hasn't so far. In fact the news has stated that he is allowing new applicants (not sure if that is true or not). He needs to fulfill his promise about ending DACA.

I see that the pro-illegal alien ACLU is whining about this. From the article:

“For the last two years, the immigrant community has been subjected to then-candidate and now President Trump’s un-American, bigoted attacks,” Praeli said. “They are... demanding that young people surrender their ability to live without fear, work legally, and contribute to the country they call home.”

-----------------------------------------------

DACA recipients should live with fear. After all, they are here illegally. When they turned 18 1/2, they were considered to be officially out of status, yet so very, very few even made an effort to fix that. Instead, they started whining and demanding that they be allowed to stay here.

If anyone thinks it would be so tough for them to have changed their status, it's not. If they want to go to college here, then they should apply to attend as a foreign student. That means being accepted into a college and getting paperwork to take to the American embassy/consulate back in their own country. They will then be given a foreign student visa and can return to the US to attend college.

Instead, when Obama dictated DACA, he didn't just offer it to college students. He allowed all illegals within a certain age group to apply. None of these illegals have any business being here. We, as a nation, owe them nothing.

Absolutely! The left hates him regardless whatever he does. They mock him when he doesn't fulfill promises. They hate him when he does. They hate him for things he has not done yet. And they hate him for just existing. Screw all these leftists and II sympathizers.

The POTUS will be hated regardless. Time to go all out and do what needs to be done. This is not a popularity contest. You have 3.5 (possibly 7.5) years Mr. President. Lets take care of business!

It's bigoted and un-American to enforce our immigration laws or any of our laws for that matter? Since when? Did I just enter the twilight zone?

I'm all for the lawsuit. Trump doesn't want to voluntarily end the program as it would look bad for him politically. But a lawsuit leading to an injunction against the illegal program would have the same result, while insulating Trump from criticism that he "heartlessly" ended the program.

to be a part of this crew. Texas has always had a special relationship with Mexico, whose people have had a strong bond with Texas and who have helped build the state into the economic powerhouse that it is today.
Don't know a thing about those other states, except they are often on lists of places with "the most uneducated," or "the unhealthiest populace," or "the poorest Americans." Don't think Texas belongs in with this bunch of know-nothings.

Excellent point. He'll be able to do this as a "This is what the people want." By people, I mean the ones that count, American citizens since this is OUR country.

You mean the special relationship that TX has to bring in exploitable labor? Yes, I do believe that is true.

Know nothings? Illegal aliens coming into my state have driven both crime and poverty, let me not forget the head lice, bed bugs, dog bites from unvaccinated pit bulls they use for protection, the drain on Medicaid for the "emergency" medical care including birthing their magic 4 anchor babies.............

Illegals are a plague to our country. For the most part, these people entering the country without authorization are not the educated and most are coming with hands out, single women having 4 children without a father in the house, I suspect since they are Catholic, immaculate conception.

Trump has promised to deal with these illegal aliens per the law and we MUST hold him to this promise. He will need the support of Congress, so make sure you demand that your congress people support this.

The only special relationship any US citizen should have with these people is if they are in law enforcement and are working to apprehend, detain and deport.

KS: More than $442 million to support illegal aliens, money taken from OUR citizens. AR: More than $224 million. AL: More than $289 million TX: More than $12.1 BILLION. ID: More than $188 million. LA: More than $224 million. NE: $262 million. SC: More than $391 million TN: More than $547 million. WV: More than $31 million.

I think it is clear to see that these illegal aliens ALL need to be removed per the law.

Let's all contact both the POTUS and our congressional members and make sure they understand what we want, what it will take for them to keep their jobs.

Let's face it, it is a certain class of people that are coming in illegally (poor and uneducated hearing we have freebies available if they come and procreate here or criminals that can get away with more here), and we don't need to assume the burden of these people, their mother country does.

Does this so-called special relationship include harboring illegal aliens from Mexico? Do Texans like having their jobs stolen from them or their wages reduced and absorbing all the other associated costs from Mexicans illegally in their state? I don't think so. Certainly not the majority of Texans.

There is nothing uneducated or stupid about enforcing our immigration laws. Actually, quite the opposite is true.
