Open borders between countries of equal standards of living, works. Example: Between the USA and Canada. Our laws are comparable, common language.
Between England and France. Comparable standard of living, both are modern countries.

Agreed.

Too; I might be wrong but; NO LatAm country has open borders with any other LatAm country, that says a LOT right there.

Maybe I understand open borders differently. I always thought open borders was about more than not needing a visa for less than 90 days. They don't allow visitors without a visa to work, for example. What exactly does the term "open borders" mean?

I think in regards to illegal immigration it means not enforcing our immigration laws as they should be and not securing our borders as well as we should be. The open borders type don't want enforcement nor do they want our borders protected so that anyone can enter at will.

There is no open border between the US and Canada...you either have to have a passport, pass port card or an enhanced drivers license. Same with entering Mexico and/or most Caribbean countries.

You don't need a visa to move across any border in the EU even if you are an American. and visa versa, no visa is required for Canadian, Mexican and EU citizens to enter the US.
There is a fast track way for Canadians to enter the US without a passport, its called a NEXUS card and a lot of Canadians use it to shop and purchase cheaper gas on the US side of the border.

I so agree with you. Patriots are what makes a country not cowards.

Interesting....but if the US was attacked, by lets say North Korea, how many Americans would volunteer to fight a war on the Korean peninsula? I could almost guarantee you, the armed forces, would not be loaded with liberals.

That doesn't answer the question, but that's okay.
