PHOENIX — Migrants who are caught crossing the border illegally for the first time are now facing criminal charges in federal court in Arizona as the Trump administration steps up efforts to deter illegal immigration.
First-time offenders until recently were deported instead of being criminally prosecuted.

The plus is that if they charged criminally, rather than just being turned around, the next time they enter illegally, it is a felony charge.
I do think it is important to keep our congress people's and Trump's "feet to fire" when it comes to enforcing immigration law. If Trump hedges on enforcement I will not vote for him for a second term, and have noticed when it looks like he might "fudge" on the law, he turns it around pretty quick. KEEP THE PRESSURE ON! We need to play no favorites, an illegal alien is an illegal alien and needs to be deported.

Even if he keeps the DACA people, many of them will eventually get themselves in trouble eventually, or be on their best behavior so that you wouldn't even notice them
Deporting illegal immigrants is definitely a cool thing also people with a long history. But the problem is, even legal immigrants are affected now unfortunately, which is sad! They are being made illegal and deported.
