Confounding his critics, President Trump has already built his big beautiful border wall. Illegal immigration on the southern border has plummeted. Mexico didn't pay for the wall — nor did U.S. taxpayers.

Trump's new barrier is a virtual wall. Nothing newfangled, yet it is the strongest of all possible barriers. It is a psychological blockade called deterrence — the deterrent effect of actually enforcing immigration law.

Many of us antis been saying for YEARS now: enforcing the laws against illegal immigration WILL work in cutting down the numbers.

The wall still needs to be built though.

We still need a physical barrier that cannot be ripped up and shredded by a feel good Democrat that could win in 2020.

The "virtual wall" is having an affect on illegal crossings which are down. If people know that they will be caught and sent back and not be given a hug and free stuff in America then they will stop coming.

I think Obama was a terrible person for giving these poor people the OK to migrate into America illegally. Many of them took the dangerous trip risking their very lives at the hands of smugglers who robbed, raped and took advantage of them. Some did not survive the trip like those who died in the back of that trailer in the Walmart parking lot.
It is criminal how these people were manipulated by our government.

Build the physical wall because it will not be taken down no matter who is in the white house.

I think the worst of them will still come in making a secure border of wall, fencing, electronic surveillance, natural barriers and increased border control agents necessary.

Hey, but this is a great start and this is allowing those that have broken the law to get away with it if they can get out before they are apprehended.

Still waiting to see workplace raids in the news, with fines and jail time for the companies, those laws are on the books. Again, we don't need "immigration reform", the laws are there just waiting to be enforced!
