During the early days of his presidency, Donald Trump told media members that deciding what to do in regards to illegal immigrants who came to the U.S. as children has been one of the more difficult tasks he's faced. Now, after seven months in office, it looks like he's closer to that decision.

What Is DACA? Trump Is Considering Ending The Program, Which Protects Some Illegal Immigrants

It is a difficult decision. What do you do if you've come here without a choice, grown up as an illegal, and are deported as an adult? It's harsh. It's inhumane. It goes hand in hand with Trump pardoning Arpaio. The rule of law has nothing to do with his decisions. King Donald has spoken. His base is happy and as long as his base is happy he has half a chance of being re-elected. He is the president of the select few.

DACA promotes illegal immigration... if Democrats won't stop illegal immigration, then ending DACA is in America's interest...

I'd allow children who came here as illegals to stay with the condition that they cannot sponsor their parents to come/legalize/stay.

I'd only consider doing so with a lifetime US ban on all adults who brought them over, as either citizens or visitors.

It gets complicated when the DACAS have younger siblings who were born here, as far as lifetime bans are concerned.

not complex: adoption by legal citizens. Parents sent home.

I'm talking about the US. born; even if the parents were deported and took their children with them, they would have the right to come back to this country as adults. When that happens, it would be virtually impossible to keep the family members from at least having temporary visas to visit the country.

NO it wouldn't. Rules are subject to revision all the time.

I don't think so, unless an uber conservative Supreme Court stands precident on its head.

In any event it would be a full employment act for lawyers.
