What about parolees and known criminals who are US citizens?
If it is noted that they are there, or they sign up to receive assistance, at the point we are aware that someone that has broken our laws has stepped forward, yes, they would be apprehended also. We have over 1 million non-violent criminals in our prisons, many separated from their children. Many of those children in foster care, so obviously this is being done. Surprised you were not aware of this. Geesh!

It was a strange question. We constantly apprehend criminals/lawbreakers who are citizens once we locate them.
An emergency or not, it does not take away from their lawlessness, and it should not.
Easy catch will cost the taxpayers less money. Now aren't the liberals complaining about the difficulty and expense? This would take away both of those issues.
They wouldn't be in the shelter if they were law-abiding in the first place.
There will be an MSM sob story about mother of 4 who chose to stay in chest high flood waters instead of being rescued because she feared deportation under the Trump admin
I heard on the news that nobody has to prove citizenship to stay in the shelters. But the illegal immigrants are still breaking the law by being in the country and when things settle down, the same rules exists.
Unless they are known illegal aliens why would this even be an issue to the governor? In a time of disasters such as this one who's even thinking about illegal aliens?

How exactly would people who have lost everything prove anything?

That sounds like a crafty Liberal story that they are planning right now at MSNBC headquarters lol. They are in a news chopper probably trying to find a Mexican mother before the rescue squad does so they can ask her the right questions lol.
