I'm sure if you're town was being attacked and you weren't making enough money you wouldn't be so willing to hang around.

These people are running from the horror's of their Country. Yes they do have a Bad Batch of people making them look bad bringing in drugs and crime but that's a group of people.

Irish and Europeans were illegal immigrants but soon as time passed they became Americans. So think about if you were living their life how it would feel!

There are safe places in Mexico and other Latino countries. The whole country hasn't been torn apart by drug cartels and violence. If they live in those places they need to re-settle within their own countries where it is safe. We can't be the saviors to the whole world without it negatively impacting our own citizens. We also can't be the employment agency to the whole world either. How are those countries going to change if their citizens don't stay there and fix them?

The early Europeans and subsequent generations did not come here illegally. I have no idea what you are talking about. Most came either before there were immigration laws or after this country became the USA and under the immigration laws in place at the time. We allow in 1 million legal immigrants a year to become citizens of this country. We can't allow in everyone that wants to come here for the obvious reasons. Either way illegal immigration is unacceptable under any circumstances.

And I would note over the last 5 years the flow of Mexicans has been heavily out not in. Much of that because Mexico has become a much more economically reasonable place.
Always negative, well many of us know that when we put our minds to something, then it CAN be done and will be done if Trump wants to get reelected. Cowards and leftist give up, others fight on.

So you have all had your minds unmade up for the last 25 years? Kind of in an idiot stupor?

But now you are going to come out of your stupor and fix it all? Sure you are. sJust click the heels of your red shoes and it will all be fixed.

Yes many of us have our minds made up to vote out anyone who does not work to deport illegals, it is long overdue that we rid our country of those who suck it dry.

Sorry but you have no significant support. Trump may even agree though even he is clearly going to sign legislation protecting the Dreamers.

You have no real support for any significant attempt to deport the bulk of the illegal aliens. Fact of life.

Again it should never have happened. But it did. And now we reap the rewards for what we sowed.

And the shame is that not fixing it fast will likely make it worse. We need to normalize our immigration system and stop this nonsense from propagating further. But you folk continue to block any rational fix.

It's a lot easier to do now that we have a president who wants our immigration laws enforced. We haven't had a president like that for decades now. We law abiding Americans have been ignored for far too long now. I'm feeling optimistic about the future. Illegal aliens are being deported, employers are being fined and our border will be secured. What more could one ask for? Here's an example.

ICE to target employers who hire illegal immigrants

Never bother to read your cites do you?

***********************************
Data provided to the Washington Examiner shows that from Feb. 9, 2016, to June 24, 2017, ICE arrested 42 people in management and 55 people in non-management for criminal immigration violations, and all but 15 were indicted and convicted. The highest amount in the past few years was in fiscal 2011 under former President Barack Obama, when ICE arrested 221 people in management and 492 in non-management, for a total of 713 -- there has been a relative steady decline in the years following.
***********************************

So all the Trumpies need to do is five times better and they will be as good as Obama did...

Two thirds of the quoted time frame was under Obama. Give it time.
