It works quite well here in San Diego as well. While living in Tijuana, I watched the tall border fence being constructed during the GW Bush administration last decade all the way to the Pacific Ocean, it definitely curbed illegal crossings around here as well.

Why it has to be some elaborate billion dollar wall is baffling to me. Just keep building the same style fence as El Paso and San Diego in the desert and it should work fine.

However, I just don't see how feasible it will be along the Rio Grande River in Texas though.

I agree certain areas will not support a wall, but I would like to see the majority of the border covered by these Big, Beautiful walls.

I have posted a couple of links proving that the good walls do work where they are erected already but alas the liberals are still in denial using every excuse it the book not to build it. There is no need to build a big, beautiful wall all along our entire border just complete the wall already approved by congress in 2006 on the most porous areas of our border. Much of the border has natural barriers and the Border Patrol can take care of those areas.

Liberals say they are opposed to the WALL because it won't work, but do they really want something that will work?

I think it will help keep the drugs out because it will force everything coming in to go through a designated entry point. It will help keep drugs off the streets. What is that worth?
