So far these posts have proven nothing other than the derangement of the Right Wing - Never let truth get in the way is the motto.
We can spew articles back and forth all day long.

The fact is it could be done. But the greed and liberals won't allow it. It could be done. It should be done. Doers get things done.

Of course it is theoretically doable. As we saw in Europe we could kill them all. And some of you appear ready to go that way...gun towers on the boarder for instance.

But practically the deportation is impossible. Cost too much. Lacks support. The practical implementation would take a decade or so and at the end you have a huge government bureau with no practical use. All attempts to significant tighten employment will likely fail do to the power of the business lobbies.

The best outcome is likely to make an arrangement that legalizes most of the illegals, while providing much tighter regulation of employment and visa overstays. Weed through all the illegals and weed out those with significant records. And spend the needed money on enforcement to assure the illegal populatoin is kept contained to a small number.

Talk is cheap, all those wonderful states that made e-verify mandatory, well they now ignore their own law because they can't fill jobs with citizens...

‘Sanctuary businesses’? Tough-talking states give businesses a pass on illegal immigration

E-Verify system fails to stop illegal workers in SC | The State

If you want to make the US a less attractive destination for illegal immigrants, put employers who hire them in jail, it is really that simple

You're right and who's wanting to deport "immigrants" that have been here for 20-30 years anyway? I swore this was the illegal immigration forum and it is illegal aliens that we are discussing not plain ole "immigrants". Silly me.

Your post keep repeating absurd nonsense.

"immigrant" in no way requires legality. Simply the intent to stay long term.

Simmer down there with the NAZI reference. I'm amazed you actually said it is theoretically doable. You're right it is doable.

They dont need to be killed they need to be given the boot. And yes gun towers for observation would be great. Maybe one every quarter mile.

This is the ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION section of C-D, therefore, when one is speaking of "immigrants" here, it means ILLEGAL ALIEN! Those that either slither across the border without authorization or overstay visas.

How to deport the all? One by one!

Once they get serious and past apprehending the worst of them, people will start to turn in the others. Neighbors will turn them in. Co-workers will turn them in. And, "one by one".

That is correct - the title is 'illegal immigration" Therefore if you are posting here you must agree that illegal immigration exists. Therefore there must be illegal immigrants contrary to OGs pontification.

At the present rate of 1 by 1 we never finish. And the illegal immigrant population remain the same. You find that useful?

There is virtually no problem to find illegals. But there is no where near the resource to deal with them and there is not going to be. So what you guys do is make it a worse case outcome. We never gain control and may well have another explosion.
