No.

Its called an investigation.

No license/ID. No social? No passport? Prior criminal offenses. Fingerprints come back to other names. Admit to being illegal? Home countries ID card. Little or no English.

Totality of the circumstances. You have no clue what you're talking about

Mostly traffic offenses. Or domestic battery. DUI. Hit and run. Drug possession. These are not hard and fast rules. Doers get things done.

We can go back and forth all day. It can be done. It should be done. ICE would be made aware and can take the investigation over. These are not hard and fast rules.

Gosh liberals have no idea of completing an easy task

Pfffft. We have millioms of troops that are being paid. Stop some of the world policing and keep troops home. Again could be done. Should be done.

Cost? Illegals cost. Get a grip

Exactly. Where there's a will there's a way.

"impossible to deport them all. One couldn't even if they wanted to."
Looking at the title of the thread, the same could be said about arresting all the people who commit crimes, yet, they get arrested daily all the time, there is never a reason to say something cannot be done and toss up ones hands, instead, we need a "can do attitude" instead of the lefts, cannot do attitude, and therefore, should not do, attitude.

I know what the law is and if you are detaining people to investigate their citizenship you are breaking it. I'm starting to wonder if you are a security guard, or maybe a school or housing officer because cops know better than that ^
