And no one is required to participate. The only requirement is to state your name and that is only is the officer has reason to ask.

And of course if the officer has a basis he can arrest and the police can then investigate. But that requires that a crime is believed to have occurred.

Well good for you, it seems that you read my posts and now understand what the law actually is as it pertains to detention for the purpose of ascertaining citizenship, glad I could help!

Who did this poll a CNN affiliate? Same people that said Shillary was going to win. Trust that as about as much as leaving a drug addict felon watch my house while I'm on vacation.

I already told you 90% of illegals say they are illegal. For the 29th time this is after an arrest. Mcfly?

NO NO NO. You're not turning this around on me. You've spouted foolish information on how you "think" police operate. You have no clue what you're talking about.

I provided source data to prove what the law is and you have not been able to refute any of it. And I know how police operate because I spent almost 3 decades working in LE.

All the research we need is that you all thought you were the majority to get Hillary elected, how did that turn out, even with all the illegal aliens, criminals and double and triple voters, she lost, and would have lost much bigger had it not been for all the cheating.

Gallup has tracked the subject for a decade. Over 60% favor legalization. Less than 20% favor deportation for all.

Nothing new. Favoring deportation is a small minority.

In U.S., 65% Favor Path to Citizenship for Illegal Immigrants
