Vicente Fox is full of it. Mexico doesn't want those people in their country for the simple reason that, even though they grew up in the US, they're still considered "low class" and poor in Mexico.

Most illegal immigrants from Mexico are extremely poor and unfortunately really uneducated. Mexico does not want them back (nor their families) since they're a net negative to their economy and system. In addition to that, when they use the US resources and work here they send billions of dollars back to Mexico that otherwise would never make it in.

Illegal immigration is a double whammy for the Mexican government. It allows them to get rid of some of their most vulnerable people AND then those same people end up sending real money into their country.

That's why you see the Mexican government repeating the Democrat talking points about deportation being racist and discriminatory. It's their golden goose and they don't wanna lose it. They're actively fighting not to as evidenced by the millions of dollars dumped by the Mexican gov on illegal-immigrant legal services in the US.

I wonder if some calamity hit America like a huge hurricane, a financial collapse, a couple of nukes from North Korea or a zombie horde if Mexico would welcome millions of Americans into their country with nothing but the clothes on their backs and their hands out for welfare?

Another angle is that we are letting millions of people come here illegally and they work the system and send money back to their homelands. When the US is wrung dry of welfare they can return home but where are we to go?

I say if Mexico wants them back then by all means open the doors and let them go.

Agree. Let's start a Go Fund me page for one way bus tickets. Actually, Vicente Fox should have all his corrupt cronies pay for it.

Fox is no longer the President of Mexico....he doesn't make decisions for the Mexican government and it's the Mexican Congress that handles immigration laws which are very strong against illegal immigration.

he is talking from his behind.

What gets me the most is how he keeps repeating the lie that all of the DACAs have University degrees when only a fraction of them even finish high school.

Those lines are just to push the narrative that this group of people is made up of geniuses that the US needs to keep.

The other fun fact is the Mexican people doesn't want those illegal immigrants back. On one hand the general sentiment is they're traitors that abandoned the country and on the other they don't want the government to make special accommodations for them when the rest of the country gets no opportunities. The Mexican government created a program to set some deportees with jobs as english teachers and there was huge backlash from the average Mexican.

You find out all kinds of interesting facts when you are fluent in spanish and read Mexican news sites.
